Marshals Required...

On October 10th 2010 the Hillclimb & Sprint Association (HSA) are holding their end of year meeting at Curborough Sprint Course in the heart of rural Staffordshire. Anticipating the need for additional support, Eric Morrey from the HSA has recently been in contact to ask for help from BMMC member's.

For those of you who are unaware of the HSA, it’s the leading UK club for the sport’s competitors, spectators, officials and enthusiasts. It represents the interests of all involved and aims to encourage new entrants to embrace one of the cheapest ways to compete in motorsport today.

As in previous years, the event is expected to attract a grid of around 70 entrants, including road cars and small capacity racing cars. It’ll be a single lapper on the short course featuring 3 practice runs in the morning (if time allows) and 2 timed runs in the afternoon, followed by a Class Winner’s run-off.

So, if you’re available on Sunday 10th October 2010, your assistance will be greatly appreciated. The marshal’s briefing will be at approximately 08:45, with practices starting at 09:15.

Once again, the easiest way to volunteer is via the Midland Region Calendar / Volunteer page, which can be found here.

Alternatively, please email your details to Eric Morrey, the HSA's Secretary of the Meeting, at eric.morrey@talktalk.net
