Ken Finnie Trophy
Winner: Ady Magness
Awarded to the Best Newcomer.
This award is in memory of Ken Finnie who sadly died at the age of 28. In the few years he was a member of the club he was involved in many roles but mainly as radio operator and latterly as a trainee CoC. His normal daily duties were involved in youth training with the YMCA which fits in with the category of the award.
Ady Magness.
After signing up at the Oulton Park round of the BTCC in July 2008, Ady has attended a number of meetings at Oulton Park. He is willing to go anywhere round the circuit – even if it means asking for a lift to get there! He has been congratulated on his talent for flagging and is obviously a natural in this area. He was awarded the marshal of the day accolade from 750 MC for his actions this year at Oulton Park. Although a quiet member of a team Ady is a good listener and learner and will continue to progress in his marshalling activities.
