Knockhill Racing Circuit

The Autumn of 1974 saw the very first race at Knockhill Circuit, a motorcycle race. Prior to this, there wasn’t a specific place for motor racing events in the area, until local sheep farmer, Tom Kinnaird developed the idea of a venue; a venue that we now know as Knockhill race Circuit.

Through running major events, such as a round of the British Touring Car Championship, Knockhill has been established as a top motor racing venue in the UK, putting it on a par with any other motorsport establishment throughout the country.

How to Get There:
If travelling from Edinburgh or the South

After crossing Forth Road Bridge continue on A90/M90 for approx 10 miles to junction 4 sign posted Kelty Take junction 4 exit signposted Kelty and Dollar, at T junction turn left up the hill on B914 for approx 2 miles At Y junction with white cottage in middle, take right hand fork continuing on B914 signposted Saline and continue on for approx 2 miles. Turn right onto A823 and continue on for approx 2 miles. You have arrived at Knockhill.
