Our area covers a vast area of the UK, comprising of marshals from Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Durham, Tyne and Wear, Cleveland, Northumberland and the whole of Scotland.  Through this web page we are able to bring you all together in one place, allowing you to stay up-to-date with the latest news and events from across the region.

A large number of North East members are interested in Circuit Racing with Cadwell Park, Croft and Knockhill all being located within the region.  Each of these circuits hold various club and National racing events, with Cadwell and Croft hosting rounds of the BSB Championship; with Croft and Knockhill playing host to the prestigious BTCC.

We also have an active rally marshalling section, with many of our rally marshals travelling to other areas to marshal, representing the North East on a larger scale as well as the many events that take place in our own region.  Another popular aspect of motorsport is Hill climbing and sprinting with Harewood Speed Hillclimb, the longest hillclimb course in the UK, being a favourite with many of our marshals.

Throughout the season many of the clubs within our region hold various club nights and social gatherings, allowing our members to get more involved. The members of the Darlington & District Motor Club (D&DMC) frequently organise social events, whether they are at Croft circuit on race weekends, such as barbecue’s and football matches (with the teams and drivers usually joining in the fun) or Chequers, the local PH.

Remember, the club is here for it's marshalling members new and old alike to help make the sport a safe, rewarding and enjoyable one for all.  If you have any events, news stories or points of discussion that you would like to share with others in the region - then please let our administration team know.

Happy Marshalling!
