Welcome to the Northern Ireland Region of the BMMC

BMMC (NI) has around 60-70 members, who are all volunteers and officiate at all levels of motorsport in NI, from club autotests through to international events and everything in between.We volunteer to do a range of tasks from time-keeping to manning our own rescue unit. Many members also marshal aboard at events on the mainland and much further afield, such as Rally GB, Grand Prix’s, and the world renowned Goodwood events to name but a few.

The club’s fully equipped rescue unit, is licensed by motorsports governing body the MSA. The MSA also stipulates the level of equipment we must carry on the vehicle and the competence of the crew, who are assessed on a 3 yearly cycle with regular training in between. Over a season our rescue unit will be in attendance at various motorsport events across NI. These range from local club events to international championships. These encompass the many various disciplines 4 wheeled motorsport has to offer - Rallying, hillclimbing, sprinting

The Northern Ireland Region meet the 1st Thursday of every month at Shandon Park Golf Club, 73 Shandon Park, Belfast, BT5 6NY
