Mike Devine Awarded the 2010 Belini Award

Mike has been a marshal for 51 years and risen through the grading system to be a Black X Examining Observer, and enjoyed his time on the bank.
 
His finest hour in recent years was diving out of the way of the fence jumping Porsche Carrera at Thruxton, which when landed just missed his brand new 4x4 by 8 feet.
 
Mike has been and will always be a gently spoken honest as the day is long marshal and is a very worthy recipient of the Belini Award which goes to the Marshal that shows the most aptitude to the role of marshal each year, whether that be  a newby coming in or an old stalwart like Mike whom has earnt its praise by the work he has done.
