[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]The North East regional committee is made up of volunteer marshals, working to support all marshals and provide safe motorsport for all.<\/p>\n

Committee meetings are held monthly either via Zoom or at various locations around the region (primarily Lincolnshire and Yorkshire), so if you have any questions or issues you would like the committee to review and respond, please get in touch with the NE Secretary.<\/p>\n

NE region members are also entitled to attend regional committee meetings in an observation capacity, so please get in touch if you wish to do so.<\/p>\n

We are always open and welcoming to new members to come along and sit on the committee – whether in a generic capacity, or to undertake one of the many roles or duties involved.\u00a0 If you are interested in joining us, please get in contact with either the NE Chairman or the NE Secretary for more information.<\/p>\n

The Vice-Chair will assist in leading meetings and guiding the Committee in their tasks, ensuring effective communication. They will also help prepare reports for the Northeast Committee, National Council meetings, and other officer projects like non-renewals and cadet members. Additionally, the Vice-Chair will assist with the Chair's roles, including acting as Regional Treasurer. The duties and expectations for this role include organizing and planning regional meetings, booking venues, and informing the committee. The role also involves producing and distributing agendas and notices, and gathering reports for all committee meetings and the AGM. Additionally, the person will take and share minutes with the regional committee and National Council Officers, and follow up with committee officers on meeting actions. They will help with other officers' projects like magazine production, the AGM, recruitment, and social events. The role also involves preparing reports for Northeast Committee meetings and other events as directed by the Chair. In the absence of both the Chair and Vice-Chair, they will lead meetings and keep them on schedule. Reports should include updates from the previous meeting, any communication received, and future meeting dates.<\/div>About the role<\/div>

Membership Coordinator<\/div>
This role includes being the main point of contact for new and existing members regarding membership queries and sending regional membership packs to new members. This position liaises between the National Membership Secretary and regional Committee Officers and reviews weekly or monthly lists from the National Membership Secretary to address issues such as duplicate memberships and proper regional allocation. The Membership Coordinator also compiles reports for Committee meetings and other officer projects, such as non-renewals, cadet members, and articles for the regional magazine. These reports should list new members to the region, including their NE number, home location, and marshalling discipline; note non-renewals or members who have left; provide updates given to new members; and offer a breakdown of member demographics and membership comparisons with previous years. <\/div>About the role<\/div>

Grading Coordinator<\/div>
This role involves being the main point of contact for grading queries from new and existing members, processing regional grading requests by reviewing documentation for compliance, collaborating with the committee, and sending paperwork to the National Officer regularly. This position liaises between the National Grading Officer and the region, reviewing monthly lists from the National Grading Officer for issues such as grade allocations and potential problems. The Grading Coordinator also compiles reports for Committee meetings and supports other officers as needed. These reports should include details of upgrade requests for committee ratification, upgrades or new member grades processed by the National Grading Officer, MotorsportUK upgrades being processed, and regional numbers of each discipline and grade.<\/div>About the role<\/div>
