{"id":866,"date":"2025-02-18T11:39:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T11:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.marshals.co.uk\/northwest\/?p=866"},"modified":"2025-02-18T21:17:03","modified_gmt":"2025-02-18T21:17:03","slug":"marshal-awards-nomination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marshals.co.uk\/northwest\/2025\/02\/18\/marshal-awards-nomination\/","title":{"rendered":"Marshal awards nomination"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Every year, the north-west committee makes annual awards to our fellow marshals.\u00a0 The categories are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> <strong>    <em>Cadet of the Year<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>    <\/em><strong><em>Newcomer of the Year<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>    Flag Marshal of the Year<\/em><\/strong> (a new addition in 2019)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>    Outstanding Service<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>    Extraordinary Action<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee cannot see all of the outstanding acts of marshals when on the bank. So we&#8217;d like you to be our eyes and ears and help us decide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each post chief folder will include a nomination form and the nomination form is at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you see someone in action who deserves a nomination, please complete the form so that we can discuss. You may spot a newcomer getting involved in an incident, a cadet in assembly, some excellent flagging, good leadership, start line\/pitlane or an experienced marshal reacting to an incident.
