WHAT TO WEAR<\/h3>\nLong trousers and long sleeves are required to keep arms and legs covered. Think of a day walking in the countryside. Prepare for all weathers and wear comfortable clothing; layers are ideal, preferably natural fibres. Footwear, again think of country walks. Comfortable and waterproof with some ankle protection. The ground behind the barriers can be quite uneven in places, and the grass will be slippery if wet.\nPlease also bring a pair of work gloves if possible. That way you can be involved in dealing with any incidents during the afternoon session such as helping clear the track, etc\nPlease do not wear colours that replicate the flags i.e. RED, YELLOW, BLUE.\nWe will lend you an orange tabard for the day to identify you as a trainee marshal.\n\n\n\n\n

WHAT TO BRING<\/h3>\nAn open mind<\/strong>. We will try to give you a realistic experience of what it is like to be a motorsport marshal.\n\nFood & drink<\/strong>. Plenty of it. It is better to take some home than run out. Sandwiches, pies, fruit, and snack items. Hot and cold drinks, but no alcohol.\n\nCheck the weather forecast<\/strong> for the whole day, conditions can be very changeable, and you will be out in the elements all day long. Please bring sunblock, sunglasses, and a hat.\n\nYou will be carrying everything with you, so a waterproof bag or rucksack is recommended.\n\nPlease also bring a refillable water bottle<\/strong>, there are plenty of taps located around the circuit to fill up throughout the day.\n\n\n\n\n

IMPORTANT<\/h3>\nDon\u2019t forget any medication you may need throughout the day. Please let your taster day organiser and your post chief know about any medical conditions we should be aware of which could potentially need treatment eg. asthma or diabetes. If at any point you do feel unwell, please let your post chief know and they will be able to organise medical assistance.\n\n\n\n\n
