Built on the former airfield, Hunts Kart Racing Club opened in 1959. It runs a monthly (second weekend of every month) kart race throughout the year. Detailed information on the club and their calendar is available on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/hkrc.co.uk\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/hkrc.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The circuit manages the marshal team, please use the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/marshals.co.uk\/volunteering\/index.php\/events\/index\/0\/events.event_date\/DESC\/search_false\/0\/0\/128\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/marshals.co.uk\/volunteering\/index.php\/events\/index\/0\/events.event_date\/DESC\/search_false\/0\/0\/128\" target=\"_blank\">volunteering site <\/a>or register in advance with their <a href=\"mailto:mailto:jamie.roe2@btinternet.com\" data-type=\"mailto\" data-id=\"mailto: thomas.vasey11@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chief Marshal<\/a> rather than turning up on the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Directions to the track are available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/dir\/\/52.3169429,-0.3745941\/@52.3160979,-0.3713051,647m\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/dir\/\/52.3169429,-0.3745941\/@52.3160979,-0.3713051,647m\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The track has different variants, each around 1km in length.
