Welcome to<\/strong> the South West Region of the British Motorsports Marshals Club<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

With one of the fastest racetracks in the country at Thruxton<\/strong> firmly within our region, as well as arguably one of the most beautiful and idyllic Hillclimb\u2019s at Gurston Down<\/strong>, the South West is responsible for providing volunteers for some of the most exciting and fastest events in the country.<\/p>\n

Our marshals come from all corners of our region from Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Wales and the Shire counties of Hampshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. We even have members in the Channel Islands.<\/p>\n

\n

With Thruxton<\/strong> hosting rounds of the British Touring Car Championship, Goodwood<\/strong> hosting world famous Historic racing such as the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival, Castle Combe<\/strong>, Pembrey<\/strong> and Llandow<\/strong> all having a wide and varied motorsport calendar. There really is a truly variety of events. Hillclimbs at Gurston Down<\/strong>, Wiscombe Park<\/strong> and Prescott<\/strong> provide unbeatable hillclimbs and exhilarating kart meetings at Barton Stacey<\/strong> are all available within our region.<\/p>\n

Our regional committee is here for marshals both new and experienced, young and old. Our volunteers allow us all to enjoy motorsport and without the volunteers in whatever capacity; the sport simply would not happen.<\/p>\n

Our committee helps members with volunteering for events or applying for upgrades. We also provide an annual marshals training day and regalia items available to purchase via our Regalia Officer.<\/p>\n
