Notice is hereby given that the 2025 Annual General Meeting for the North East Region of the British Motorsports Marshals’ Club Ltd will be held over zoom meeting on the 28th of October at 19:30. (Please see following page for zoom meeting joining details)

The current committee is made up of the following
• Ang Garbutt, Chairperson
• Craig Hope, Vice chair and Croft circuit representative
• Andrew Palmer, membership and grading coordinator
• Mike Bentley, Cadwell Park representative
• Peter Wilson, recruitment officer
Tim Bendelow has stepped down as from this AGM as the Rally and Speed representative, we all would like to take this opportunity to thank Tim for all his hard work and dedication to the role over the years. We would also like to add that Tim stayed on an extra year with the committee to help form and build the new group, a big thank you for doing that also!
Since the last AGM Georgie Ward has also stepped down from her role as social media and regalia, we all would like to take this opportunity to thank Georgie for her hard work during the time on the committee.
All other members are happy to carry on in their
roles.
Sofia Soberon, who was North East secretary for a period in 2024 before being granted sabbatical unfortunately did not come back to the committee. During that time and since Michael Siddle has been acting as North East Secretary and therefore will stand for election at this AGM.
There are two new members since the last AGM who have joined the committee and are fulfilling active roles, both are standing for election.

• Claire Morton, Recruitment
There are numerous roles, however, which are vacant and currently have no one standing for them.
• Rally & Speed
• Karting representative
• Knockhill circuit representative
• Regalia
If any member is interested in joining the committee, then please contact the North East chair to discuss what is involved. Formal nominations must be received by the end of Sunday 12th October, unfortunately nominations received after this date won’t be able to be included in this year’s BMMC North East AGM; please note, any nominations will require proposing and seconding to stand.
