The Media Suite will be open from 7:00pm, and we aim to provide Tea & Coffee and also Cake for all attendees. This is to allow time before the formal meeting for attendees to chat between themselves about matters motorsport or not as they see fit.

All Midlands members are welcome, but if you are planning to attend then please drop me an email at m.secretary@marshals.co.uk so that I know to send you a copy of the 2023 Committee report in advance, and also to make sure that we don’t run short on supplies of cake!

BMMC 25th Anniversary Sprint at Curborough!

Message from Steve and Julie Hill, our fantastic organisers.

It is our 25th anniversary of the BMMC Sprint at Curborough on May 6th 2023. The event is a round of the Curborough Championship and the Caterham Lotus 7 Club. We run a mixed bag of vehicles from mini’s to Van Diemans and everything in between. With an age range of competitors from seventeen to seventy seven… All profit goes back to Marshals training from the BMMC and we very much appreciate the time given by the volunteers for their event.

Over the years we have been well supported and our thanks go to those who turn out year after year for us but we always make a new face welcome and then hope that they then return. Many individuals are involved with making this event the success it has become and again our thanks and gratitude to those who give there time so freely to support our orange army!

They really are the most important cog in our wheel so why not come along and see grass roots motorsport at its best! All volunteering via the BMMC website or direct to hulljulie@btinternet.com and we look forward to another year with a sea of orange.

BMMC Midlands AGM 2022

64th Annual General Meeting

Wednesday 23rd November 2022 7:30 p.m.

This year we are delighted to be reverting to a face-to-face AGM, which will be held at Donington. We considered trying to also provide a virtual link for those of you who are unable to attend in person. However, it is our view that the experience would be very poor and therefore not worth doing.

Please click here for the formal notice / agenda.

If you would like to attend, please register by clicking the button below by Wednesday 16th November 2022. You will then receive details of the venue, a copy of the Agenda, the Committee’s 2022 Report and the minutes of the 2021 AGM a few days before the meeting.

First Taster Days confirmed for 2022!

Our first 3 taster days are now confirmed for 2022, dates are as follows:

2nd April

18th June

9th July

If you know of anyone interested in joining us for a taster day, please ask them to visit the BMMC Website and click on Book a Marshal’s Taster Day.

You will also need to register with Motorsport UK who also have some great online Marshals Training.

We look forward to seeing you all out and about in the Midlands!

Marshals Required – BMMC Sprint, Curborough

Marshals for the forthcoming BMMC and Lotus 7s Sprints at Curborough on Saturday August 29th and Sunday 30th respectively. Marshals are required for either or both days.

If you haven’t marshalled at a Sprint event before, come along – you’ll be well looked after.

Due to the current circumstances we will not be able to accept marshals on the day, so if you are available and would like to assist, please volunteer to Steve & Julie Hill (hilljulie@btinternet.com) as soon as possible, but no later than Sunday 23rd August.
