This shield was introduced in 2013 to recognise the good work of our Cadet and Young Marshals.
Our three most established awards have all been given names over the years and it seemed appropriate this year to rename this to the Christine Lynham Shield.
Christine Lynham was affectionately known as the pit mummy, looking after marshals along with her photography work. Always ready with a big smile and an even bigger hug.
