Website: Harewood Hill Climb

Harewood Hillclimb is the leading Hillclimbing venue in the North, and also the UK’s longest permanent Hillclimb course. With the first motor racing event held at the venue in September 1962, its reputation as one of the top hillclimbs around has developed over the years, which is aided by holding events, such as the Nicholson McLaren British Speed Hill Climb Championship, along with the regular Harewood Hillclimb Championship.

How to Get There:

Visitors from the South/Midlands, coming up the M1, should stay on the M1 after the M62 Junction. (Do not take the road into Leeds). This link road runs straight into the A1, and about 4 miles after joining the A1, take the A659 westwards towards Otley.

Follow the A659 (signed for Harewood House) through Collingham (bear right at the lights). In approximately 2 miles, on the left hand side of the road, you will pass the Travellers Rest Pub. After exactly 1 further mile, Harewood Hillclimb is on your right-hand side. Look out for the wooden rails. Welcome to Harewood Hillclimb!

Visitors from the North, travelling down the A1, should also take the A659 to Otley. Having joined the A659, follow the instructions above.
