Marshal Training Days 2024

Training days – January 2024 at Donington Park

This day is for Fully Licensed and Trainee Rescue Crew.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the Donington Rescue team then please email Nick Anslow at nick@doningtonesteam.org.uk Your current grade is not important but you do need to have had at least two years Marshalling experience.

Help needed – for this training day we also need two or three willing volunteers to act as injured drivers who need to be extricated from simulated incidents. If you would like to help with this then please email Steve at m.training@marshals.co.uk – but note, given the time of year this can be cold and wet.

1. Track Trainee (including: Just starting and Registered marshal) intending to:

Upgrade to Grade 1 Track Marshal, or for refresher training

2. Off Track Trainee (including Just starting and Registered marshal) intending to:

Upgrade to Grade 1 Off Track Marshal, or for refresher training

3. Upgrade to Grade 2 or Grade conversion

Upgrade to Grade 2 Incident from Grade 1 Track

Upgrade to Grade 2 Flag from Grade 1 Track

or

Conversion from Grade 2 – Incident to Flag or Flag to Incident

Upgrade to Grade 2 Off Track from Grade 1 Off Track

Do Grade 2 refresher (Incident or Flag or Off Track) training

Once you have volunteered you will get an automated response – please take care to enter a correct email address as the response and final information will go to the email address given. Final instructions will be emailed during the week before the event.

Help needed – For the 27th and 28th we also need a small number of Experienced or Grade 2 or grade 3 marshals to assist with the setup and running of the Practical Fire Training sessions – on both 27th and/or 28th. If this is something you’d like to help with then please use the relevant volunteering links (a separate link for each day) selecting ‘Trainer/Organising Team’.
