If that sounds like you, then your committee needs your help.
We are looking to recruit a new Environmental Co-Ordinator to sit on Committee to push forward environmental initiatives within our marshalling activities.
The region has a proud reputation as being an innovator so your ideas can make a difference. It was the first to adopt a Car Share scheme, matching people living near each other who have registered an interest. Matchmaking to save on fuel costs and our carbon footprint as we travel to Oulton Park and beyond. One of your first priorities will be to promote the scheme and administer it.
Sitting on Committee, which meets by Zoom roughly every two months, you will ensure that the environment is part of all of our decisions and bring new ideas for us to consider.
For more information, either see the Chair, Oz Phillips, or the Secretary, Paul Newns, at Oulton or e-mail Paul at nw.secretary@marshals.co.uk
The successful person will become a member of the North West Committee. Therefore, if you wish to apply, your application needs to be supported by two fully paid up or life North West region members.
To make an application, please send an e-mail to nw.secretary@marshals.co.uk which includes:
Your full name and BMMC number
The names and numbers of your proposer and seconder
Details of why you are interested in the role, including any relevant experience.
The closing date for applications is 30th April, 2025.
