The Northern Ireland region of the BMMC

The BMMC (NI) region was setup in 1993. After being a part of the Midland Region since 1979. Since then it has grown and has currently around 60 members. The Northern Ireland Region is the only region of the BMMC which owns and operates a fully licensed and equipped MSA Rescue unit, as well as supplying crews to operate various clubs MSA approved rescue units.

The members in Northern Ireland cover a wide range of events, from rescue to time keeping, rallying to race meetings. The club supplies marshals and time keepers for many rallies held in Northern Ireland as well as some further a field. Kirkistown in Kircubbin is our main circuit in Northern Ireland, but many marshal at Mondelo Park in Dublin and more recently Bishops Court in Downpatrick which has recently started to host race meeting. Member’s roles range from cadet marshals to International Chief Timekeepers.As like most regions the Northern Ireland region regularly supplies marshals to The Grand Prix and to Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Revival

Many of the members also compete in various events such as hill climbs, sprints etc….
