Club Ambassador Flick Haigh

Reigning British GT3 Champion Flick Haigh

I was very excited to be approached by BMMC to become a Brand Ambassador, it feels a huge honour and I am looking forward to helping and promoting the club as much as I can. Our sport can only keep going with the generosity of the marshals come wind, rain or shine they are there keeping us safe, for me particularly I have seen first-hand the expertise and professionalism they show. I am looking forward to being able to give them something back.

Flick Haigh Biography

I started motorsport quite late, in my early twenties. I started out in Caterham’s in 2007 and I won my first Championship in 2009 in my beloved Classic Graduate Caterham.

In 2010 I moved up to Caterham R300’s, I had a pretty big accident in 2013 so decided to have a change. I had already been involved in some GT4 races by then including the Dubai 24hr with Optimum Motorsport and their Ginetta GT4. In 2014 as well as getting the odd bit of GT3 experience on test days, I raced a prototype alongside Sarah Reader in the VdeV series which was great fun.

Come 2015 I had fully involved myself in Endurance racing and did several 12/24 hour races in GT4 cars for various teams, learning as I went along.

In 2016 I had an opportunity come up with Optimum motorsport to get solidly into GT3 in an Audi R8, after a year of Endurance racing followed by a year in the Michelin Le Mans cup series. I took some time out to evaluate where to go next, at the end of 2017 Optimum and myself made a switch to Aston Martin with the plan to do BGT. With that we were offered Jonny Adam as a team mate and like they say the rest is history.
