BMMC signs Armed Forces Covenant

We are proud to announce our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community through the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant which took place on November 10, 2024, at Trac Môn, Anglesey, before the start of the 10th Mission Motorsport Race of Remembrance.

The signing was conducted by Group Captain G J J Currie OBE ADC MA RAF on behalf of the Armed Forces, and BMMC National Secretary John Edwards representing the British Motorsports Marshals Club.

The Mission Motorsport Race of Remembrance, held annually at Trac Môn, Anglesey, provides a fitting setting for this commitment, honouring the service and sacrifice of military personnel. The BMMC looks forward to establishing this formal pledge, further strengthening its ties with those who have dedicated their lives to serving the United Kingdom.

Financial and Insurance
The finances of the Club remain healthy and year to date we have a surplus of just over £3,000.

Steve Woolfe (Treasurer) is in the process, along with Adrian Liddiment National Regalia Officer, renewing our sponsorship deals. To date, Ginetta, CSCC and Cataclean have committed to 2025. Prodrive, Clapham North and NGK are still considering their budgets for 2025. Adrian has a list of potential new sponsors that he will be contacting soon.

If anyone has any good ideas/contacts for new sponsorship, then please let Steve know at nat.treasurer@marshals.co.uk
Should anyone be interested in the Treasurer’s role (and you needn’t be an accountant as we have an exceptional bookkeeper who does most of the work), please contact Steve Woolfe for a chat.
